There are many organizations for veterans that offer different types of support. Some help veterans find out about and apply for services. Others advocate on behalf of the veteran. And some offer a way to connect with other veterans with disabilities.

Buckeye Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America

Advocates for health care, research and education, veterans' benefits and rights, accessibility and the removal of architectural barriers, sports programs, and disability rights for people with spinal cord injury and disease. Access to online communities of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, United State Coast Guard, and National Guard, including a "Buddy Finder" search program. A communality is also available for spouses and families. Military.com - Communities

National Coalition for Homeless Veterans

Provides information for homeless veterans or veterans at risk of becoming homeless, such as information about resources available to address specific needs, how to replace personal records, information about seeking VA benefits, and a printable summary of phone numbers and Web sites.
