Medicaid Waiver Programs in Ohio

The Individual Options Waiver (IO Waiver) is for people with mental retardation or developmental disabilities who meet the waiver's eligibility requirements. Services provided through this waiver allow people to stay in their homes and get support rather than living in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF/MR). This waiver is administered by DODD.
