- Use your rights to take charge of your recovery and your treatment.
- Try to learn about the many, many rights you have and use them in the way that is best for you.
- Sometimes, other people don't know what your rights are, but do not let that stop you from using your rights. Instead, teach others about your rights.
- If you run into problems with your rights, ask someone to help you out. You do not have to go it alone. There are many people and things that can support your recovery, but sometimes you have to ask for them.
- Remember, these are your rights, they can support and protect your recovery, and they can make your life better!
