Special Education

Special education services are available for children over the age of three through age 21 who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP). For children with disabilities under the age of three, early intervention services are available for those who have an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Transition services planning (actions to prepare and support students in their transition from the school community to adult community living) is also required for students with disabilities who have an IEP and are 16 years of age, although transition planning can start as early as 14 years of age.
