Ohio Legal Rights Service Commission

The Ohio Legal Rights Service (OLRS) Commission was created by the Ohio General Assembly in 1986. Three Commissioners are appointed by the Speaker of the Ohio House; three by the President of the Ohio Senate, and the seventh, the Chair, by the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court. The Commission is the governing authority of OLRS.

Commission Meetings

The Commission meets at least four times a year. The meetings are generally held at the offices of OLRS at 50 West Broad Street in Columbus (directions to OLRS). Meeting times are generally 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. If you would like to attend a meeting and need interpreter services or other special accommodations, please contact OLRS at least one week before the scheduled meeting.
