Ohio Legal Rights Service (OLRS) staff are available through the OLRS Speakers Bureau to share their professional expertise and knowledge with groups or organizations for people with disabilities. Speakers can provide information on a variety of topics including, but not limited to:

  • Overview of OLRS
  • Abuse and neglect
  • Advance directives for health care
  • Community inclusion and access to government services and public places
  • Constitutional and privacy rights
  • Employment discrimination
  • Guardianship
  • Housing discrimination
  • Mental health rights
  • Special education
  • Vocational rehabilitation
  • Voting rights

To request a speaker

You can request a speaker in several ways.

By phone: Call OLRS Intake to request a speaker at 614-466-7264 or 800-282-9181; TTY 614-728-2553 or 800-858-3542. Intake hours are weekdays (except holidays) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
